Happy New Year Everyone

Thought I would start the New Year off with a Picture of my DN. He just turned 19 and was deployed to Iraq. When I look at his picture I think it wasn't long ago that he was thinking about girls, friends and his new truck and now he is fighting for our country.
I am always taken back by how young some of our servicemen and women are and how much they have given up for us all. They are the true heroes.
Please take a moment to keep them all in your thoughts for the New Year.
I hope everyone has a Happy & Healthy coming year.

Sympathy

sad to say I need to send a sympathy card. This card is simple but thought it was ok to send? If you could keep the family in your thoughts I would appreciate it. One of the girls from the cards for soldiers group lost her Dad suddenly so sad and such a bad time of year

I rounded the corners of the card and mats

I used 2 scalloped circles using my nesties

colored with inks

background is CB emboss fld

and of course glitter

the saying was matted using my Fiscars threading water punch

I than stamped the background paper with a dot stamp to make it look like snow
