xmas swing card

I call this a swing card, I'm sure there is a different name but dont know it.

I got the idea from crafters companion but you dont need it to make this card.

love how these cards look and they are so easy to do

I cut the ornament from my cricut out of watercolor paper to give it some thickness and took the PP I used for the card base to cover it

Added some gold glitter

used CB corners and ribbon to match

used Emers glue & MS glitter on the snow

inked the sky with sky blue by color box

I love the look of white on white

Wreath was made with flowers from Michaels wedding section

Background was embossed with a CB emboss folder using the big shot

saying is one of the dollar stamps from ACM

My newphew is being deployed this week to Iraq

He is only 18 so please keep him in your prayers

well today I put my sister on a plane for AZ sob sob We spent the last 7 weeks together the longest we have ever spent in 18 years. It was so good to see her I miss her already. The good news is she will be moving back to NY within the year and living with my DH & myself yipeee

Since no one sees my blog I guess I am talking to myself LOL Trying to pick diff background and banner for the blog not easy but having fun. I see so many really nice backgrounds from other bloggers have to find out how they do it and of course I want free ones LOL
