Rose #346

Hi everyone Well its been a long time since I posted. My sister has recovered and is doing great so I am home again. I have missed all of you and hope to get back in the swing of card making and blogging again.

Card: used the sizzix frame cut using foam
I dont know who makes this paper but it is one of my favorites which I knew LOL

Update on my sister's surgery

Just wanted to thank everyone that has kept my sister in your thoughts & prays.  She is home and doing very well, everyday she gets a bit stronger.  

It has been a long time since I had 3 kids running around and all that laundry LOL.  they are off from school this week so at least no running to school and sports.  think I will need a vacation after this LOL

thanks again I really appreciate it  and really miss looking at all the blogs but will be back soon

#35 Easter Basket my last card for a while

First I just wanted to thank everyone who comments on my cards, you are all so sweet and talented. I will not be on for awhile since my sister has to have open heart surgery and has 3 small children. I will be going there to help her along with my other sister.
If I could ask a favor just keep her in your thoughts & prays, I would really appreciate it. I will miss seeing all your cards and just wanted you to know why I am not commenting on them LOL

Now for the card this is just a simple card but thought it was kind of cute
I used a premade embossed card from DCWV and just chalked it
basket is cut with my cricut using doodlecharms cart, than run thru the big shot with the swiss dot folder
used some Daisy flower trim
eggs and flower were also cut with the cricut and colored using inks I also used some glaze on the smaller eggs
next time I think I will put a little bunny popping out of the basket

Note cards with box

This box holds around 10 note cards. I thought it would make a great gift. I left the inside blanks so they can be for any occasion Saw the box tut on splitcoaststampers not sure who did it sorry.

Cuppy Love #443

I have been a follower of Jennifer's Sweet Designs blog for several months now. Well she has started designing her own stamps over at Stamps and Smiles if you haven't seen her cute stamps, you just have to check them out, did I say cute LOL
She will be coming out with new ones soon so add her to your blog list. She is also doing a new challenge every week, what fun. No I don't have stock in the company but just love them LOL
I won her blog candy and this super cute set called Cuppy love.
I wanted to make a card with the set so you could see how really adorable they are, I hope I have done them justice?

Card Details:
DP MS baby girl
Nesites Oval reg & scallop
Cuppy colored with watercolors and used glaze and glitter for the tops. Cup it out and popped it onto the oval
MS Lace border punch
Hearts part of her set which I cut out & also popped they were inked in white than just went over them with a white gel pen
Hugs & Kisses is also part of this set stamped with colorbox violet
Liquid Pearls around her dress

Rose Card #435

I picked this stamp up at ACM and love it
the card is a 5x7 used a white base than some purple CS
colored the rose with pencils & mineral spirits
chalked the backgd a bit to take away the white
Lightly stamped swirls on the purple backgd with white ink
added pearls to the corners and the center of the flowers
Purple sheer dot ribbon

thats it pretty simple

Card for the Soldiers

when we make cards for the Soldiers we try to do simple cards because we need to send so many out, so this is one of the ones I did, I massed produced this and just used diff colors.

Card on a card

I have been playing along over at Stamps and Smiles this week. Jennifer has some really cute stamps coming out today for sale and I won her first set called cuppy love too cute, anyway here is one of the cards from the sketch she did on day 4

this is a A@ card I than cut a smaller card on the front the second pics shows the inside of the little card. Isnt the bear too cute. I have to confess I took all my stamps off the wood blocks about 250 of them and put them on EZ mounts and made a big mistake I never wrote down where the stamps are from so not sure who makes this stamp think it is Wipper Snapper but not sure sorry
