Happy New Year Everyone

Thought I would start the New Year off with a Picture of my DN. He just turned 19 and was deployed to Iraq. When I look at his picture I think it wasn't long ago that he was thinking about girls, friends and his new truck and now he is fighting for our country.
I am always taken back by how young some of our servicemen and women are and how much they have given up for us all. They are the true heroes.
Please take a moment to keep them all in your thoughts for the New Year.
I hope everyone has a Happy & Healthy coming year.
Hugs
Norine

You are so lucky to have a hero in your family. He'll be in my prayers with all our heroes. We are forever in their debt.

Hi Norine...your DN looks like a fine young man...so brave and proud!!! I, too, think about and pray everyday for all our soldiers. My DH is retired U.S.Army so I can relate to your pride and anguish. Thanks for sharing his story and know he is doing a great service for us all....a true hero!!

So sweet of you to post this picture. I too think and pray a lot for our troops. My husband is a Navy Helicopter pilot, i try not to worry too much, but sometimes you just can't help but worry.
